Hope House is Trellis Counseling’s historic Milwaukie location, offering trauma-informed therapy primarily for adults, with limited services for older adolescents, in a quiet, home-like setting near downtown Milwaukie. This location is well suited for clients seeking a calm, reflective therapeutic environment while remaining close to the Milwaukie and greater Portland communities.

Parking at Hope House

Parking is available in two locations:

  • Street parking along SE Adams Street

  • Additional parking in the lot behind the building across the street

Please allow a few extra minutes when arriving for your first appointment to locate parking.

Accessibility at Hope House

Hope House is a historic building listed on the City of Milwaukie’s historic register. Due to the historic nature of the property, some physical accessibility features may be limited. Under the ADA’s 2010 Standards for Accessible Design, historic buildings are required to meet accessibility standards to the maximum extent feasible, and alternative methods of access may be used when structural changes would impact the historic character of the building.

When accessibility needs are known in advance, Trellis Counseling can often make accommodations, including alternative access options or telehealth when appropriate.
