Professional Counselor Associate in Oregon

My passion as a counselor revolves around creating a safe and nurturing space where pre-teens, teens, and young adults — including college-aged students — can be seen, heard, understood, and truly be themselves. I use a person-centered approach, aiming not only to support clients through immediate challenges but also to provide space for self-exploration, emotional understanding, and personal growth. I believe that resilience exists within each person, and my role is to help nurture and strengthen that inner capacity so clients can move through difficulties and feel more empowered in their lives.

Working with Pre-Teens, Teens, and Young Adults

I am a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Lewis & Clark College. My professional background includes over 8 years as a public-school teacher and school counselor, where I worked closely with kids, pre-teens, and adolescents. navigating a wide range of emotional, social, and academic challenges. I continue to bring this deep understanding and experience into my counseling work today.

Approaches to Therapy

My counseling style is grounded in a client-centered lens, integrating approaches such as mindfulness, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I often incorporate creative and expressive modalities, including elements of art therapy.
Much of my focus has been supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, school-related pressures, and life transitions — all within the broader context of personal identity and growth.
