Registering to Vote in Oregon

How to Register or Update Your Registration
Online (Preferred)
You can register or update your registration through the Oregon Secretary of State’s secure portal:

By Mail or In Person
You may also download, complete, sign, and submit the paper registration form:

Fill out the form, sign your name, and mail or deliver it to your County Elections Office.
Eligibility Requirements
To register to vote in Oregon you must:

Be a citizen of the United States

Be a resident of Oregon

Be at least 16 years old (you must be 18 by Election Day to vote) Vote.gov

Provide your Oregon DMV driver license or ID number, or the last four digits of your Social Security number, or proof of identification if you lack both

Register by the state deadline: your registration form must be submitted or postmarked at least 21 days before an election Oregon Secretary of State
Update Your Info
If you’ve moved, changed your name, or want to switch party affiliation, you can update your registration online or by submitting a new paper form.
