Peer Wellness Services are practical, supportive services for adults who want extra help staying engaged in care and building everyday wellness skills between therapy sessions. Peer support is not therapy. It is a recovery oriented service that focuses on real life tools, encouragement, and connection to resources.
- What a Peer Wellness Specialist can help with: skill practice, wellness planning, coping tools, motivation, appointment readiness, care coordination, and navigating resources.
- How peer services work with therapy: your therapist remains your primary clinical provider. Peer services support your therapy goals and are coordinated with your care team.
- Where services happen: in office, secure telehealth, and in the community in approved public locations when appropriate.
Eligibility
Peer Wellness Services are available for adults (18+) who are current Trellis Counseling clients and who have peer appropriate goals.
